Into Innovation

Discover the stories of some of our home grown innovators in our new Museum of Innovation galleries at the Transport Museum. In this interactive tour led by our Education team, your pupils will discover how some iconic and world-changing inventions like the DeLorean DMC-12, the pneumatic tyre, and the portable defibrillator developed. They’ll get an insight into the visionary people that turned ideas into reality and consider the challenges and opportunities they faced. They’ll also find out about our changing Innovator in Focus pod, which features new and modern innovators. This section aims to excite and inspire, allowing children and young people to imagine themselves in the role of innovators of the future.
