Engage with Ulster Transport Museum collections digitally using the Martime app!
This app allows you to travel through Ulster’s maritime history, created by Ulster University students and academics in collaboration with the Ulster Transport Museum.
Delve deeper into historic vessels held within our collection, discover where the boats originate from, and listen to stories associated with maritime history and folklore. Through the power of AR, you can virtually walk around and have a look inside the boats!
You can give the app a go on the following dates;
Dates
- Thursday 10th July from 12:00 to 16:00
- Wednesday 16th July from 12:00 to 16:00
- Thursday 24th July from 12:00 to 16:00
- Thursday 31st July from 12:00 to 16:00
The vessels referenced within the app are not currently on display in the Transport galleries but are held safely within our stores. So this is a great opportunity to engage digitally with our collections!
